About our All-Access Social Events
The Monthly Mixer is a relaxed, low‑pressure space to hang out, meet new people, and stay connected with friends.
Our events are designed with and for people with disability, support people, and allies. You can join in at your own pace, take breaks when you need, and know that you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.
Each month looks a little different – from discos and games nights to creative workshops – but the focus is always the same: feeling safe, included, and part of a community.

May 2026
Friday Night Disco
When & Where: Friday 15th May from 5-9pm @ TOPS function room, Armidale City Bowling Club
Our very first Monthly Mixer welcomed 86 guests for a fun and inclusive Friday Night Disco.
DJs Ash, Ray, and Brett kept the dance floor moving with all the fan favourites, while new and old friends connected, caught up, and enjoyed the night together.
Dinner was shared, plenty of memories were made, and a quiet space was available for anyone needing a break from the music and activity.
June 2026
Winter Warmers
When & Where: Friday 26th June from 4-9pm @ Auditorium, Armidale City Bowling Club
Winter Warmers welcomed 72 guests for a relaxed evening of games, warm food, music, dancing, and community connection.
Guests enjoyed acoustic music with Judith Betts, as well as board and card games, and plenty of time to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. A shared winter meal helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere before the dance floor opened for the evening.

Live @ Legacy Hall
When & Where: Friday 24th July @ Armidale Legacy Hall
(Special Olympics Fundraiser)
Live @ Legacy Hall welcomed 68 guests for an evening of music, dancing, and community connection in support of Special Olympics New England North West.
The Dots generously donated their time and talent, filling the hall with live music and fan favourites. Guests enjoyed lucky door prizes, companionship, and the wonderful sense of community created by everyone coming together.
Together, the community raised more than $700 for Special Olympics.
